We are always looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Coaches to join BC Fire Soccer Club. Candidates should have a background in both playing and coaching soccer, and be able and willing to communicate with players and parents. The Coach must be able to share his/her passion for soccer and be able to motivate players to improve their skills and performance. He or she must be willing to adopt and teach our BC Fire Soccer curriculum and participate in club-sponsored training to learn more about soccer, coaching and our club.
Minimum skills and experience:
* USSF “E” License within first year of coaching
* Experience coaching age groups
* Must pass a background check
Team Coach must be able to demonstrate and teach the skills and techniques of soccer and articulate basic soccer tactics. The right candidate has an outgoing personality, the ability and motivation to work with young players and the desire to work alongside a staff that is focused on effective player development. Staff Trainers will work with teams during the week at centralized locations, with the opportunity to train two teams back to back. Select Team Coaches will train teams during the week at centralized locations, and will coach games on Saturdays. Candidates with lesser qualifications than stated above may join our staff as assistant coaches to gain valuable experience.
