Below you'll find a break down of some of the costs parents can typically expect to be associated within a season if you are part of a team.

It's important to remember that these costs contribute to providing a safe, enjoyable, and well-structured experience for the young athletes.

Registration Fees: These fees cover administrative costs and are paid at the beginning of the season – after tryout selections have been made and players notified. They help cover expenses such as league affiliations, Fall and Spring facility rentals, player cards, Fall and Spring referee fees, equipment & field maintenance. Coaching fees are also factored into the cost. For U13-19, fees include registration for the Michigan State Cup Tournament.

Official Game Uniform Kit: Uniform kit need to be purchased every two years with cycles happening on summers 2023, 2025, 2027, etc. The uniform kit includes 2 personalized game jerseys, 1 short, 2 pairs of socks, a training vest, and a backpack.

Additional Uniform Garments and Equipment: Additional uniform garments such as extra socks, shorts, or warm-up suit and other items can be purchased through our local business partner, Jack Pearl's. Additionally, players may need to invest in appropriate soccer shoes, shin guards, soccer ball and other necessary gear. These costs can vary depending on the quality and brand of the items.

Travel Expenses: BC Fire teams participate in away games and occasionally tournaments, where travel expenses may arise. This can include transportation costs, accommodation, meals, and other incidentals. It's important to consider that the extent of travel and associated costs can vary depending on the team’s competitive level and participation in out-of-town events.

Tournament Fees: Many BC Fire teams participate in tournaments, which provide valuable opportunities for players to gain experience and showcase their skills. These tournaments usually have entry fees that cover the cost of organizing the event, field rentals, referees, and other logistical expenses. The fees are typically in addition to registration fees.

Additional Training Programs: BC Fire offers supplementary training programs throughout the year (Summer Camps, Summer Champions, Futsal, etc.) to enhance the skills and development of their players. These programs may involve additional costs beyond regular season fees but can provide specialized coaching and focused training sessions.
